TalkWay
Terms of service

Move & talk.
Stay responsible.

These terms govern the current TalkWay service on iOS and Android: short-lived rooms for up to five people, with open-mic and push-to-talk controls.

Acceptance

By downloading or using TalkWay, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. TalkWay is operated by POLPROG.

What TalkWay is

TalkWay is an audio-only group voice utility. Up to five people create or join a short-lived room using a nickname and six-character code. iOS and Android users can share the same room. The app offers a persistent open-microphone toggle and hold-to-talk push-to-talk, does not play music itself, and does not record conversations.

The participant who joined earliest is the host. The host may remove another participant. If the host leaves, the role can pass automatically to the earliest remaining participant.

Use it without losing awareness

Your safety and legal compliance are your responsibility. If you use TalkWay while driving, cycling, skiing, working, running or otherwise moving, set up the room and audio route before you begin. Do not interact with the screen while movement makes that unsafe or unlawful.

TalkWay is a communication tool, not a navigation, emergency, dispatch or safety system.

Your conduct and room code

You are responsible for whom you give a room code to and for what you say. Do not use TalkWay to harass, threaten, abuse or impersonate anyone; share unlawful material; infringe rights; disrupt or overload the service; bypass rate limits; reverse-engineer protected parts of the service; or pursue any unlawful purpose.

We may apply rate limits or restrict service access to protect availability and users. Anonymous, ephemeral rooms do not guarantee that another participant cannot hear or independently record what you say using their own device, so share codes and sensitive information carefully.

Routes, music and device limits

Voice quality and background behavior depend on your device, operating system, network and audio hardware. Classic Bluetooth must switch to its call-audio profile when the headset microphone is active, which reduces music quality. TalkWay shows the active route and offers Mix, Duck and Voice-only behavior, but cannot remove hardware or operating-system limits.

Service provided as available

TalkWay is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties to the extent permitted by law. Mobile networks can drop, operating systems can suspend background apps and rooms can expire. The app includes retry and reconnect states, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, POLPROG is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss arising from use of or inability to use TalkWay. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Updates, governing law and contact

We may update, change or discontinue features and revise these terms. The current version will remain posted at this URL with a revised date. These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, subject to mandatory consumer protections where you live.
